For the love of Roasted Cauliflower & Homemade chicken balls!

We're huge fans of cauliflower, we usually eat them raw with dip, or steamed and put in a stir fry. Another way we love to eat cauliflower is roasting it! A lot of people don't think of that way, but I'm telling you it's delicious!

All you need:
Head of cauliflower
1tsp salt
3-5tps olive oil
1tsp of roasted garlic and peppers seasoning (optional)

Preheat oven to 400.
Cut the head of cauliflower into little florets/chunks/tree style.
Soak them in hot water for 5-10 minutes, I usually do 10 minutes but I'm sure 5 is fine.
Put them in a bowl, mix 3-5tsps of olive oil, 1tsp of salt, 1tsp of roasted garlic and pepper.
Toss them onto a sheet and throw them into the oven for 12-15 minutes, until they're a little golden!
I could of put mine in a little longer, but  I had these little eager hungry eyes taunting me.
With the roasted cauliflower, I busted out my new Kitchenaid mixer I received for Christmas and used the grinder attachment for chicken, to make chicken meatballs!
I love this thing!!
Nothing like raw chicken.
To this, I added
- one egg.
- pack of whole wheat crackers
- seasonings
- any sauce ( I used dry rib sauce from Wal-Mart, we love it)
Rolled them into little balls, Added some onion, and fried them up with a little olive oil.
With a side of whole wheat spaghetti and sauce...dinner was served!
Later that night, we shared a Crush Cream Soda float!
 My favorite.
I hope you all enjoy!!

For the love of the holidays, with doggy love. #ILoveMyk9 #Cbias

Christmas was a blast for us, family, the kids, even the dogs! We all went sledding together, the dogs had fun chasing us up and down the hill, they were defiantly tired out when we got home so we let them investigate their presents, I had them all in pretty wrapping paper but before I even got to take a picture our kids attacked it like it was one of their own.

There's Lucy, being all pretty. Abby had to wait in the boot room to dry off (which takes hours since she's so big with a ton of hair) so she didn't get to join in on the picture, but she did enjoy A LOT of treats! Check out the shop we did for them here.

For the love of McDonalds & Equal #CBias #EqualCanada @McD_Canada

Last night hubby and I ventured out to do a little shopping, kidless...that doesn't happen often!. Whenever we can squeeze in a little time together we always go on a small date. It was getting a bit late, our youngest was in bed already and our oldest was most likely driving hubbys mom crazy so we figured we'd go to @McD_Canada for something yummy, quick, & delicious.

Hubby got his usual coffee, he loves Mcdonalds coffee. I didn't feel like coffee when it was already 9pm, I would never sleep!. I did however go to add some sweetener to hubbys coffee for him, I asked the lady behind the counter if they had any #EqualCanada, she pointed and told me to go to the little station. I found one brand but it defiantly wasn't Equal
I then went back to ask for a comment card, but the team was getting ready for closing and the manager wasn't there so I kept my receipt for later.

We then enjoyed our little date with some baked triple berry pies, they were so yummy!

It was so nice just to sit and talk for a few minutes, without screaming, or mommy and daddy being chanted over and over. Look how dead it was, it was nice being in a quiet atmosphere for once.

We were able to talk about anything and everything, even the mission with #CBias and if McDonalds was to offer more options for sweeteners like Equal, they would bring in more buisness. Then we continued to talk about our day, and what fun and interesting things the kids did.

When we got home I went online to mcdonalds.ca, and took their survey. I was impressed with how fast and easy it was! I noted that I would love to see Equal Brand Sweetener offered to customers. The staff was great even though they were getting ready to close they still had a smile on their faces when dealing with customers.

At the end of their survey, they offer a coupon! Now if only I had a printer, I would of printed and left to McDonalds in an instant.

For the love of Holiday Gift Shopping for Our Dogs! #ILoveMyk9, #CBias

When it comes to Christmas, we buy presents for our loved ones, and of course our dogs are included! This year was a little more funner since it was our puppy Lucys first Christmas. She's 8 months old now, and into stealing our kids toys and our other dog Abby's treats.
So we went out to do our shopping at Wal-Mart in Quesnel, B.C.
I was so impressed with the variety of treats by Milk-Bone®
Lucy being so small, she gets treats for small dogs,
and Abby being so large, she gets treats for large dogs.
(check your local newspaper the week of December 11 for a money saving coupon on Milk-Bone® Dog Treats.)

Abbys not a big fan of toys, she doesn't play catch or wrestle, she would rather run and watch my hubbykinz work. She's such a loyal gentle pup, or what we call her, lug.

Next we found some Pup-Peroni treats, which happen to be Lucys favorite.

I didn't find any Milo's Kitchen treats though! Which I wish we had it as I've been told that's a very healthy option for dogs.

Here's what we came up with! Some small toys for Lucy, new bowls, and some special treats!

You can see all the pictures and details for our special holiday shopping for the dogs here.

For the love...of a domain.

I've been pretty into blogging lately, but lately with the way blogger has been acting for me, I'm looking at getting my own domain and all. I hate that I can't view my blog, or play with settings...and I hate the fact that I felt like my blog was gone...disappeared, vanished, poof. One day if Blogger bites the dust, all my work and time spent has gone down the drain. *heart sinks into tummy.*

So now, I'm looking at switching things around, and finding a good host...does anyone have any good suggestions?

Please and thank you!.

I'm blank because...

I'm weird because...
I can't sleep without my memory foam pillow my mil bought me from costco, goes everywhere with me.
I love the LOOK of snow, hate the cold.
I paint my nails, almost every day.
I'm actually a nail polish addict.
I won't drive in the winter, nope, not happening, oh what's that you need a ride?...walk.
Across the Universe is my go to movie when I'm down...everytime, on repeat.
I eat Doritos with melted cheese whiz ontop...delicious.
I also eat Itchiban noodles, ontop of buttered bread...also delcious.
I dance around to my Ipod, when the kids are in bed, and hubbykinz is at work.
I love the smell of newborns.
I'm obsessed with my almost 3yr old's gorgeous hair.

I'm a bad friend because...
probably forgot to either write, or call to wish you a happy birthday.
I read a text, then don't reply until the next day...or week.
same goes for an email, takes me a few days to even reply.
I cancel plans all the time, sometimes my couch is much more enjoyable.
It takes me a month to call family, just to say hi.

I'm a good friend because...
I'll always be there for anyone, always.
I try to help when it's needed.
I'll try to make you laugh when you need cheering up.
I always wish the best for any of my friends.

I'm sad because...
I wish I did schooling before having kids.
I wish I lived closer to my father.
I wish my really good friends weren't so far away.
I wish I could see my grandpa whose very ill.

I'm happy because...
I have two beautiful, gorgeous girls that I love to death.
I have a wonderful, supporting hubby to be by my side.
I have the best mother in law around, she's a saint.
it's the holidays, decorations, baking, family, love.

I'm excited for...
my children to grow and experience and learn.
Christmas! people I love will be around my family and I.
my new Britax car seat to get here that I won the other day.

For the love of yummy yogurt bites.

Don't you hate when you've had nothing but cravings, all day. Let me guess, you want to eat everything, and I mean...everything, right?.
I wanted to share with you beautiful readers how I make delicious yogurt bites.

For starters, you need an ice cube tray, ( I use a mini ice cube tray I bought at Dollerama)
Yogurt of your favorite flavor
fruit of your choice, I always use frozen blueberries.
(Canadian frozen blueberries from Extra Foods to be exact.)

Now spoon 2-3 blueberries in each little cup

Put about 1/2tsp of strawberry yogurt (or whatever flavor) on top of the blueberries

I know, messy right. Now plop those in the freezer for half an hour.
Take them out, dip the tray in a bit of hot water so they will pop out of the tray easy.
Throw them in a little zip lock baggy and throw them back in the freezer, or eat them all.
Every time you crave something crazy, head right for the yogurt bites!
They melt fast, and the blueberries could get messy.
Super easy right!

Use could use strawberries, raspberries, blueberries...or anything that's freeze-able!

For the love of preparing for Christmas, & fisher price toys.

It's that time of the year, where you plan and get ready for the holidays. Decorating, putting up a tree, baking, and...shopping for presents. This year my mother and father are traveling from Alberta to B.C to spend the holidays with us and our girls. From what they've been telling us...our girls are going to be very, very spoiled. My hubbykinz mom may be spending it with as well, so full house, tons of presents, tons of baking, tons of love.

So far the majority of our shopping is done, because our girls are going to be so spoiled already, we're only shopping very little for them, as we have no room for a billion +1 toys in our little home. I have been thinking a lot on what we should get them, one big toy each, or a few little toys each. As I've been checking out their playroom, I noticed that the majority of their toys are all, Fisher Price. From little people, to the activity walker, to musical table, to hundreds of fisher price blocks...they have it all.

I want to keep it going, I support Fisher Price %100 as I grew up playing with mostly as of their toys.
Does anyone remember this?
Heck yes I do, I recall cooking a lot of food on this little stove. How about the little record player, or the little tug phone, or even the old cash register? How cool were all of those toys?! I wish I had them still, for my girls to play with!.

So far I know, my parents have bought the girls all Fisher Price toys for Christmas. So, we have decided we will get them one big present to share, ready?

Yeahhhhhh. that's right...the Fisher Price Power Wheels Ford F-150. Except take this picture, and replace the boys with our two little girls. We all know our girls will be little tomboys, no matter how much little girly stuff we shove them in. We're a hunting, fishing, quading, camping family...this sweet little truck will suit them. Go check it out, awesome ratings as well! Power Wheels Ford F-150.Of course child #2 will have to be a passenger..., she's only 15 months. Child #1 will be 3 in March, so perfect timing!.

Now I just have to put away enough for it...I have to stop shopping, I want to buy everyone, everything for Christmas.

What's on your child's Christmas wish list this year?
